Child Pose
Begin in tabletop position, facing the tree. The head should be only a few inches away from the trunk. Bring the knees out slightly wider than the hips, and bring the toes closer together. Next, shift the weight back and sit on top of the feet. Reach the arms in front of you and grab onto the base of the tree. Maintain a long spine. Consciously relax the body as much as possible, and take several deep breaths. Expand the breath in all directions — not just into the belly. Expand into the back body and the side bodies as well.
