Arrival & parking
From I-93 Exit 40, follow Route 302 east for three miles, turn left onto Prospect Street, and continue about one mile to the park on the left. Use the designated parking, which the Forest Society says is plowed in winter. Its linked park map marks the Memorial Tree, Tree ID Trail, Pond Loop, and other paths.
Walking & terrain
Choose a short return walk to the Memorial Tree or one of the mapped woodland loops. The manager does not publish a measured parking-to-pine distance or individual loop lengths; the map has a feet scale but is not a step-free access assessment. Paths wind through woods and around the pond. Check roots, wet ground and seasonal conditions on arrival, and turn back whenever the route no longer suits you. The manager describes the memorial tree as a giant white pine, estimated to be over 200 years old; no current champion designation is asserted here.
Access, fees & seasons
Forest Society properties are generally open dawn to dusk. The park page states that a portable restroom is available in summer. No general admission price is published in the reviewed park information; confirm current arrangements with the manager. Keep paths and gates clear, carry out belongings and trash, and leave plants and memorial features undisturbed.
