The register behind the map
Arkansas Forestry register · retrieved October 9, 2026 · edition not stated
125 records are included in this imported selection. 124 have approximate map points; 1 remain searchable without a marker. Multiple trees can share one town or county point.
Register editions, retrieval dates, and individual measurement dates describe different things. This snapshot does not confirm current tree condition. Approximate map points do not locate individual trees or establish permission to visit.
Arkansas Department of Agriculture’s Forestry Division register, retrieved October 9, 2026. All nine pages are included: 15 records on each of pages 1–8 and five on page 9. Measurements were checked on all 125 detail pages. Co-champions, tri-champions and repeated species remain separate, including entries with unequal published scores. Vacant species are not tree records.
124 records use 50 approximate Census county points. Eastern Cottonwood has no published county and remains searchable without a marker. Source property labels distinguish public, limited public access, private property, street viewing and private property with access allowed. Seven records have no access classification. County markers do not locate the trees; confirm current visiting arrangements with the site or Forestry Division.
Circumference is shown in inches; height and crown spread in feet. Four circumference fields have foot marks and one crown field has an inch mark that conflict with the program formula. Their values are interpreted using the program’s units because those units agree with published scores within rounding, with the original text retained in individual source notes. Published scores remain unchanged. Missing names are resolved from detail-page titles, with notes. No measurement dates or confirmed list edition are supplied.
